Tax me not
for the purpose of war
when the world
is in need of peace.
Guns and bombs
can never buy
democracy’s release.
Take my dollar
and build a bridge
between opposing sides
let understanding and dialogue
conquer what divides.
Invest in peace
and you will make
the world a better place
wherein the need
for guns and bombs
will be at last, erased.
